Other ideas of activities you can do on Mother’s Day

Picnic – I know the weather isn’t fabulous at the moment but picnics don’t need to be done outside. Why not pretend you are in the beautiful sunshine, enjoying the heat & family time, whilst being in the comfort of your own home.
Grab some snack foods, some drinks, a blanket & settle down for the day in your outside inside picnic!

Forest Walk – This is one of my favourite activities & I love seeing big families going on Forest walks, it really seems a great way to relax & bond. Just make sure you don’t get lost!

Duvet Day – Treat your mummy to a duvet day, I can’t tell you how much I’d love a duvet day… Well if I’m honest a bed day! Snuggle up on the sofa under the covers with a list of movies you want to watch. Enjoy snacks & bond!

Breakfast In Bed – This one is a lovely one, if your mummy is into proper breakfasts then I would treat her to a freshly cooked/made breakfast before she’s even stepped foot out of bed. Be it a full English or an omelette, make sure you treat her.

One last one…
Leighton Buzzard Railway – 26th March – So this one isn’t strictly in Hertfordshire but its one of my favourites that I happened across, I just couldn’t leave it. Why not treat your mum to a steam train ride & cream tea. I thought this was a lovely idea, it had to come into the post. Adult train tickets with cream tea included are £14.50 & Child tickets (without food) are £6 and Under 2s are free.

Mr Mulligan’s Lost World Gold – 26 March – Mummies go free with a paying participant.
I can tell you this activity is great fun & we love heading there when we are at the Stevenage Leisure Park.
