Family Friendly Vegan Restaurants | Kindly written by Kirsty Dee
One thing I find people struggle with is somewhere to eat out if the rest of the family aren’t vegan.
So here is a list of 8 places that are all vegan friendly as well as family friendly.
Pizza Express – They have a vegan pizza without cheese. Alternatively they are happy to add on a vegan cheese for you if you bring it in.
Toby Carvery – Believe it or not they have some delicious vegan options. I personally like the lentil pie.
Zizzi – I went here recently and they have a whole vegan menu. I went for the lentil pasta which was great.
Loungers – Loungers are my favourite place to eat for lunch. There vegan menu is great and I love there soups. The lunch time special offer is brilliant.
Weatherspoons – You don’t have to go far to find a Weatherspoons and they are now offering a vegan curry.
Prezzo – Prezzo now have a vegan sharing board for starters. For mains there pizza bases are vegan friendly. Just ask them to leave off the cheese to make any vegetarian pizza suitable. They also have house fries, salad, olives and hummus for sides.
The Stable – They are happy to make any vegetarian pizza vegan and you don’t need to take in your own cheese, they have vegan cheese.
IKEA – IKEA have vegan options including vegan ‘meatballs’ if your after something a bit different.

Really interesting post! Love how restaurants are catering more and more for things like this. My sister is finding places cater more for gluten free as well.
Great that restaurants are catering for wider community x
I never knew IKEA has vegan options! All I ever heard people talk about is the meatballs… It’s great to see that they are accommodating everyone! 🙂
What a great list of restaurants. I need to pop into them.
Even my business partner’s local pub has vegan options now! I am quite impressed – though I am afraid the vegan options are not mine. There are some restaurants where I DO love the veggie and vegan options – try Grainstore near Kings Cross and at Heathrow Airport.
Its so great that theres so many vegan restaurants to choose from. Must make eating out much easier and more varied xxx
wow i had no idea , Im not vegan but often feel like no meat days thanks for sharing k x
It is so useful to know options exist. Makes it easier when lunching with a group that includes vegans, vegetarians, and dedicated meat eaters. No one has to compromise.
Vegan meatballs at IKEA??? Guess where I’m going today…
