I’ll have your Easter filled with fantastic activities in no time. Here are the Easter Events in Hertfordshire that I’ve come across so far (PLEASE NOTE- I will update this post when/if I see any other events!)

Christopher Place’s Small Furries with Mr and Mrs Easter Bunny (St Albans) – 1st April – Free event for families in Christopher Place, St Albans. Come & visit Mr & Mrs Easter Bunny along with their small fluffy friends, like the chicks & rabbits.



Foxholes Farm Park’s Easter Holiday Lamb Feeding Sessions – From 2nd April – Come & help feed the baby lambs this Easter at Foxholes Farm, book through their farm shop. Session times are 11am, 1:00pm & 3:00pm.

Gravity Tots Easter Theme Week at Gravity Force (St Albans) – 24th to 28th April – Come & celebrate Easter with your under 5 year old at Gravity Tots! B loved the experience of the superhero week so I can only imagine the Easter event will be even better!

Hatfield Town Centre’s Egg Hunt – 3rd to 21st April – Find hidden eggs around the Hatfield town centre shops.

Herrings Green Activity Farm’s Easter Owl Encounters – 5th, 7th, 10th, 11th & 13th April – Sessions last for 2 hours, in that time you will get the chance to meet, handle & fly different types of owls, meet & cuddle their giant rabbits & craft it up with their Easter Crafts. Session times are 10.30am or 2.00pm. YOU MUST PRE BOOK.
Adults £9.00 Children (5-15 years) £12.00.



Knebworth House Easter Trail – 14th & 15th April – Come & take part in their Easter Trail, this is a extra £1 on top of entry. Make sure you check out everything else they have to offer at their beautiful park. Book online for a 10% saving on entry.

Knebworth House Easter Medieval Jousting -16th & 17th April – Come see the Knights demonstrate their skills in hand to hand combat. Be sure to cheer them on, maybe a boo or hiss if someone isn’t playing by the rules! There are two scheduled jousting displays on both days at around 12.30 and 2.30 pm.
Later in the afternoon after the jousting bouts, you’ll be able to meet & chat with the performers, maybe even take a cheeky selfie or two with them! As above the rest of the park will be operational so make sure you check out all they have to offer.

Paradise Park’s Easter Eggstravaganza – DATE TO BE CONFIRMED – Visit one of our favourite attractions & enjoy all they have to offer for Easter. Meet their Easter bunny & take part in their free Big Easter Egg hunt around the park, with a chance to win a family experience at the park. Other fabzoolus activities that they have on offer are face painting, Easter arts & crafts, fun & games with the Easter Bunny, Easter themed animal feeds & so much more.

Royal Gunpowder Mills ‘Spring Into Easter – 1st to 17th April – Visit the zany world of the Royal Gunpowder Mills, enjoy science shows with Professor Nitrate, meet the Easter Bunny, go on an Easter egg hunt, craft away & be sure to take your crafts home with you. Don’t forget to meet the pygmy Goats & Ducklings that you’ll be able to handle.

Ryeassic Adventure Park – 14th to 17th April – Head on over to Ryeassic Park for their Family Easter Weekend featuring a Dinosaur Egg Hunt, Easter fancy dress competition, indoor & outdoor fun as well as all their usual amazing offerings. Your little one will also get a Dino box (snack meal) included in the price of their ticket.
We are HUGE fans of Ryeassic, be sure to play a few games of Bowling & make sure you race each other on the mini quad bikes!

Standalone Farm – 3rd to 7th April – Going retro here with a fantastic puppet show! Come & meet Banana Brian & his puppet friends perform & make you laugh your socks off! This event is included in the price of entry BUT it is run on a first come first served basis. Timings to be confirmed.

Old Macdonald’s Farm – 1st to 17th April – *A little further afield* Enjoy 2 daily Easter Egg hunts along with some fantastic crafting activities & shows. Of course you can still enjoy the park whilst you are there, including their fantastic new Doggy Dog roller coaster & fabulous carousel.

Easter Monday At Halls Green – 17th April – Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery are hosting a lovely FREE family event at their Hertfordshire Jewellery Centre( Fairclough Hall Farm, Halls Green, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG4 7DP ). Lots of super fun activities planned including an easter egg hunt & a chance to peruse their beautiful jewellery!

Hertford Easter Hunt – 13th April – A fantastic Easter hunt in aid of the ‘UK Sepsis Trust’. Collect your entry card from ‘Go Coffee Shop’ between 1-3PM & head over to Block Press’s Facebook Page for the 6 clues to the 6 locations around town. At each of the locations there will be a different coloured ink pad for your child to make a finger print on their entry card. Once you have visited all of the 6 destinations, return to Go Coffee Shop to exchange your card for a bag of Easter treats!!
LAST ENTRY 3PM.
