The summer holidays are coming to a close, I genuinely feel like they’ve just started. Dependent on where about in the country you live your Summer Holiday will be coming to a close in a little over a weeks time! Its time to plan something for some of those spare days you have.

10 Places You Need To Visit Before The Summer Holiday Ends

#1 Paultons Park – Top of our list of recommendations is Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig World. We’ve only been to the park four times. That was two trips using their two for one hotel deal! I can’t begin to recommend the park enough but it is THE best family theme park in the UK. Regardless of height there is something for all at this place & thats what makes me love it so much.

#2 Rye-Assic Park – This is a favourite haunt of B’s. Its exceptionally well priced & has so much to offer. We usually end up spending our time going from the soft play to their bowling alley, outside on the climbing frame to their trampolines. There is just SO much for everyone to do.
Their staff are fabulous & treat B like an absolute King, I am always happy there & don’t feel the stress that I sometimes experience at other locations! What makes Rye-Assic Park even better is that its great fun in any weather, you’ve got lots to do both inside & outside. PLUS they now have a new addition of a NERF WAR area where you can have Nerf gun wars!

#4 Paradise Wildlife Park – PWP is a fantastic family run wildlife park based in Broxbourne,Herts. Its one of our favourite places to visit because of its wide variety of things on offer. One moment you can be feeding farm animals, then watching a talk about Otter feeding, afterwards heading off to ride on their fabulous F1 style ride on cars!
Another location where you can easily spend an entire day, filled with lots of family fun!

#5 Willows Activity Farm – This one is an expensive one but it is worth it for the right child, by that I mean someone that is into animals & PETER RABBIT! Willows semi recently became home of Peter Rabbit or atleast… Thats what B thinks! This is a great place to head with the family, you’ve got so much to do & can easily spend the majority of a day here.
With their amazing outdoor play areas, beautiful animals which you can feed, AMAZING Peter Rabbit area, shows & so much more you’re sure to have fun. I would recommend bringing a packed lunch as the tickets are quite expensive & so is the food, its definitely a special day out location!

#6 The Seaside – It seems a good old British trip to the seaside has been forgotten about & its something that saddens me. I’ve got so many magical memories of heading to the seaside when I was little & now I’ve made sure B has the same by regularly taking him to the seaside. Our favourite haunt is Clacton-On-Sea & we’ve already headed there this year & plan to at least head back one more time this year. We love the arcades & B is now a huge fan of the seaside rides!
Be sure to head to the seaside before your little ones have to head back to school!
WHY WE LOVE THE SEASIDE

#7 Shepreth Wildlife Park – Another fabulous Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire. Beautiful animals & lots of family fun to be had here. Although not as large as other offerings above SWP has plenty to do & you could easily spend 4+ hours here, especially if you let the kids have a run around in their brilliant soft play & fantastic outdoor play ground!!!!

#8 Your Local Splash Park – THIS! You need to take your children to your local splash park if you haven’t done so already. B has already been twice this weekend & he absolutely loves it. He doesn’t necessarily spend ages in there but he absolutely loves the half an hour or so that he does. I watch him run around with a permanent smile on his face.
Other than parking your local splash park is FREE. So use this on a lovely warm day for free family fun, bring a picnic to make it last longer!
SUMMER HOLIDAY

Let’s hope you can fill these final few Summer Holiday days with lots & lots of fresh family fun.
